Welcome to the Columbia County Government Blog.  The objective here is to publicize the accomplishments, foibles and atrocities of local government in Columbia County, New York.  I also hope that this blog will be portal allowing anonymous information to be public disseminated without the source being intimidated by retaliation. 

This is a non-partisan blog, since accomplishments, foibles and atrocities can be attributed to members of every political party.  Unlike other anonymous forums discussing political matters, the blog format will allow filtering out of spam, flaming and other useless postings. 

I pledge one objective and one objective only with this blog: to tell the truth, and allow democracy function in Columbia County.
